How to fix a broken education system ... without any more money
Here's what we can learn from India:
Education in Suriname is also broken.
There are lots of parents who want to pay for their children to visit private schools.
There are also students here who don't understand, get demotivated and drop out.
Even though problems with our education system may be similar with other countries, we can still craft our own way to solve problems.
It's necessary to talk with everyone in the system. They might have lots of good idea's.
People may be saying different things about the problems. It necessary to analyze the problems and find the root causes.
It's very important to have a very specific goals. Then the idea's can be chosen that support the goals.
When looking for solutions to address the root causes, start with what's around. Available resources or methods that free or affordable. This will help to make the solutions sustainable and scalable. Examples:
use sticks and stones for effective learning ( learning by doing)
use free social media for effective communications.
